Thought I would strat off with giving you a small introduction to my past as an artist here we go...

From the age of nine. My work has been exhibited in London and also in a contemporary gallery in Birmingham UK, where I have had solo shows and a book published of my early work .On occasions my work has been auctioned to raise money for charities; including raising funds for the widows and children of the NYFD involved in 9/11. As an artist I have undertaken many commissions and seen my work showcased in many unusual places such as appearing on the side of Scania Trucks.I was the official artist commissioned to commemorate the opening of Millennium Point in Birmingham UK by the Queen. I presented to her majesty my work, which she now owns in her collection.I am a graduate now from Birmingham City Uni with a 2.1 in illustration . I am keen to be a freelancer illustrator. I feel my work is unique fun, geeky and thought provoking and I look forward to embracing new challenges.

My interests are varied but I adore a range of art styles western and eastern Animation, Cartoons, Comics and Graphics novels (indie titles mostly).

.It's not as bad as 5 paragraphs of crap that's not true like Tanker Truck simulator 2011 OH Snap :nuu: :dummy: (Nerd³ joke his amazing everyone should subscribe to him same with Yogscast and sourceFED)
I look through my dairy very day now and say to myself what have I got myself in to. That's a good thing don't get me wrong its great to be busy and productive
Get ready this is another infamous long entry here we go… :faint:

My heart has just not being in the right place last few weeks. Though I have done extremely well to catch up with my then ongoing paid jobs (that stay unnamed) outside the web, I have lost time and some penitence with my own ideas and work which has slowed my creativity done a little bit. And getting back in to cartoon watching mode has not helped the matter either.

Its natural for any creative too feel this way especially when they're gaining an audience and following for the projects they do. I get a little bit paranoid if I have not updated anything on the web in after 3 days because it makes me look like I have a lazy altitude to my practise.

Second important thing to note is I may be having an internship at an animation company in my city next month, which will be very beneficial and helpful in understanding my industry and its contributors

Project 1 Beanie greeting cards

In recent years I have wanted to improve beyond my cartoon skills and strayed away from their charming humor to explore other areas of the art spectrum in college and university. :artistic:

Now after university I have thought about bringing them back as sellable prints and cartoons because they have a universal design so they would not offended anyone so I feel I could put them in to any situation. :)

I have got some new business cards printed and my greeting card series I plan to sell at my local woods have been finished. I got these done in the last two weeks as next week will be the big moment to advertise this project to the woods trust too see if they would want to use the cartoons as a marketing tool to attract new visitors.

I feel I am returning to my senses and getting my mind set back. To continue with the graphic novel projects and my illustrations.

I am doing a few new paid jobs right now, which all link to my chosen fields of illustration and animation so everything is ago but I cannot talk about them, yet.

Project 2 Jowy comic development

My talented musical friend Cameron Walters  Aka C-Dog [link]  was interested last year in doing a comic series for my character Jowy. Before the end of last year I had given him a brief rundown of the world and the characters that inhabit it so he could write some material in his spare time.  On Wednesday he emailed me 3 scripts he had written for my characters and was I impressed. He really captured their personalities and made them believable. I now want to start working on this thing so badly :eager:. But I have to be realistic with time and consider what is priority . But JOWY may be getting his comic very soon FINALLY.

The jowy comic is in a concept development stage because I just want to be picky about details and characters in the story.

Project 3 Humanise.com Graphic novel

My Dad who's a writer and was an artist is collaborating with me on this new comic that we both are excited about producing and making a reality. Called HUMANSIE.COM (title may change) essentially it's going to be like the Matrix mixed in with the concept of the Roger Rabbit movie ;p. We are still in the development process but we have been updating it a lot more often on my blog and we hope you enjoy what we have so far i want get as much interest from the web as i can and feedback is appreciated so we can make this the best story it can be.=D

update
I have discussed in length with my writer (my Father) about what we must do and the first major step is to get an A3 scanner to make the task of editing and colouring easier then manually scanning in each section separately and getting bored. I know I have spoken about deadlines for projects before but I will work hard in my spare time to get pages done before August for the preview of the first comic. Humanise.com graphic novel project

Project 4 MLP FIM title cards

My MLP title card project has been slowing done recently because of the other work i have done. I still appreciate the feedback and amount of bronies who have favorite and watched me because of the project thank you. I am going to make some time for them as much as I can I want to finish what I started.^^:

Project 5

The MLP fan film Rise of the Galiax that I am a part of has been put on hiatus so we could try our hooves at a smaller but equally exciting animation project called Dashies Tales. It's going to be a short about Rainbow Dash's parents. I have done some storyboarding but  stoppted to focuos on the more important jobs.

Haaa, love the MLP titlecards, they look great and bring back and huge sense of nostalgia. Whenever I look at any of them I can only hear the title card music from Dexter's Lab. Great work.

Sorry to bother you, but I noticed you were from England. I am interested in getting into illustration, and I was wondering where you studied it at university?

I stayed local for my studies and went to Birmingham City University (BCU for short). I studied a BA in visual communications as it was linked to illustration I also did small courses in life drawing that were linked to the university services. I was based at the creative campus Gosta Green that was in the centre of the city as the university stretches across the region. Now I know there are other universities that do specifically illustration but I am not that knowledgeable on it, as I have never traveled outside of my home city for my education. It’s important to note that the system and Crouse has dramatically changed since I was there last year when I graduated. You need to have something very unique and have a real passion for it to get in BCU now. I would say look for visual communication courses as you get different options within illustration, as it’s a ridiculously broad topic and subject

I hope this information was somewhat helpful I wish you the best of luck with your future friend.

I will be honest, I found you because of a title card for a fan work.

Your title cards for the official episodes are wonderful.

But the most striking thing that really gave me pause was your stages of man.

That along side your other works shows a wonderful breadth of style and control.

I've not yet had a chance to view all of it and I'm useally not a fan of digging into people's journals.

But I believe you have all the foundation to be a master if you so wish it.
