Description
For some bizarre reason I kept imagining chrysalis with a southern accent when i was drawing this almost like New Orleans. 
As much as I enjoy doing rough speed painting and digital painting I really do want to create stronger polished pieces
. That’s partly why the title cards are taking so long. i need to re learn about my drawing tablet again to improve on what digital skills i have already.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactI love this piece. The shading and rough color palette give it a very "Norman Rockwell" feel, which, given the scene depicted, fits very well. It also evokes strong thoughts of the French Quarter; I can almost imagine myself standing on that street as this scenario takes place.
I can imagine Queen Chrysalis with a strong Southern drawl, and Cadence almost having the air of a belle. Just the poses alone really make you ask questions of an "If I were there" nature.
Well done! Please do more of these. I'll be keeping a close eye on your work, fellow Deviant.
