Great and green Warming Eve by Jowybean Great and green Warming Eve by Jowybean

Boy do I have a lot of catching up to do with new pony episodes  :shakefist:  i missed last weeks so that means double the watching for me now on top of watching the new Hobbit film this Saturday.

With Xmas less then a week away i wanted to do another festive piece with ponies. :)

It’s a little messy ^^: with its finish because I wanted to convey the idea of scale and atmosphere in both the characters and scene with less detail also theres been a lack of submissions this week and i want to get back in to my creative flow before xmas. ;P

Check out my FIM title card project jowybean.deviantart.com/galler…

New episode card coming soon :eager:

until next deviation LATERS Bronies :peace:

Drawn in Photoshop CS6 with my Wacom tablet 5 =D

Like it:blowkiss:hate it :police: its up to you not marmite :dummy:

Huh. Despite my initial surprise, the green background rather suits the artwork's tone, making for a magical Christmas Eve moon.

No, I mean the combo of happy-go-lucky pastel ponies with that really somber looking background.

oh.....As a freelance artist once you learn about contrasting colours and explore it in depth you take more risks to go against the norm in this case green is not really a christmas colour, let alone a nighttime colour. but i wanted to see if this colour could work with the characters. :)
