The Playland kingdom concept art

For years i have had these incredible imaginative worlds inside my head but never had the confidence to jot them down. The characters i always have had no problem drawing but the world they inhabit has posed a changeling to me . But after discovering digital painting four years ago and continuing to enhance my skills in this media I felt inspired to have a crack at visualising the places and environments. i made these as rough colour studies so I can distinguish each area better. 


Play land Kingdom/ City

A Toys paradise a hub thriving with activity and fun there’s never a dull moment in this carefree vibrant place and every kind of toy lives here.

Sown Valley

This is literary the thread that holds together the two lands (Sown valley is entirely made of fabric and cloth). It’s also the peaceful home to the ancient and wise sewing maidens, they watch and maintain the borders of both kingdoms for shady activity. If the threads were to separate the results would be catastrophic for everyone.  

Iron Metal Plains

The harsh and rough wastelands that surround the city of Guntopia it is a baron place full of terrible monsters mutated biker gangs and large mechanical crevices nothing is remotely organic on this side of the world, even the forests have no vegetation 

Guntopia 

from the name its no surprise this is a violent city built of guns weapons and gambling

 
Main Characters 

Roy

A happy going heroic chap who is one of the body guards and closet friends to Princess Larry Anne. His always willing to help others and always stays positive even in the most dangerous of situations your hardy ever see him frown.   

Princess Larry Anne

The young princess and ruler of Playland she’s a caring and strong women that is friends with Roy and Kiwi. She is able to defend her self and her subjects if her kingdom is attacked by Gun body and his army.

Kiwi 

Loyal Childhood friend of Roys and Larry Anne Kiwi is always by their side eager to help fight the enemy even though she can rush in to things without thinking first. 

General Grouch

The princess royal advisor and Head of security his job apart from worrying about the adventurous Larry Anne is to monitor the land for suspicious goings on that may pose a threat to the peaceful kingdom. 

King Gunbody 

the scheming manipulative dictator and ruler of Guntopia and the Iron Metal kingdom. His always plotting his next moves against the Playland kingdom and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal of either destroying it or taking it over. Even if it means been stopped by Roy and his friends over and over again.
