A colour concept sketch i did based on a head cannon i have had this year since Bats!

yes i do have my own head cannons but i never talk or draw draw them so now is a good time as any to do so.

i always loved the idea that while Luna lives in Canterlot she on the side runs an academy set up to train every kind of pony (including bats) to the become future night guards and severs of the princess of the night. essentially i see them like a police force rather then a military force. geography wise i picture this place been near the Crystal Empire up in the mountains  away from the nearest City 

I based the over design of the complex off uh... well if you watch anime you may be able to guess what place it is, not saying the clues in the name .  whatever type pf place Luna owns its got to look loud and slightly iimtimidating.
