Brief Jowybean update 7/4/14

Its been a good two months since i left my full time job which i explained about in the last journal update. i am now signed back on the job centre looking for full time or part time jobs i can do within the realm of illustration and graphic design. 

Good news is with this free time I have had i have been able to continue with my projects the MLP title cards jowybean.deviantart.com/galler… and the ambitious graphic novel Humanised.com.jowybean.deviantart.com/galler… (which i will start uploading content soon.)

I am in the process of creating my Jowybean website that will be done this month.

Other important things to know regarding cons and stuff for the rest of the year

Sadly due to workload job hunting and lack of preparation. American pony cons look to be less likely this year.

On the other hoof BUCK 2014 you can bet your sweet flank I will be going there vendoring .i have a lot of new prints postcards and exclusives i am working on right now that you will not want to miss trust me there going to be big bros.

the other trip I would  have liked to do this year would have been the Manga tour of Japan with the travel agency www.japanjourneys.co.uk. I so dearly love Japan and will move there at some point in the future its a big long term goal of mine . I have become a bit of an Otaku over few months watching a lot of different anime and documentaries on  Japans history and culture.

my newest anime craze is Gurren Lagann. That series is pretty awesome and makes a nice change from the slice of life comedy animes i have grown attached too this year like Lucky Star and Excel Saga. (think Freakazoid set in japan thats what Excel is , well worth your time in my opinion :rolf

i will aim for japan next year instead but darn it i will make it over there.

I am in the process of creating an online Jowybean website to expose my art to more people and future clients online.
